Ok. I do need to cover up a little for work but dang! It is hot today. I settled on my black AT tailored aline dress with clark lizard wedge sandals and my denim jacket for the air conditioned office. Carried along my cheap but cheerful orange bag. I went sans hose due to the heat. -which I actually hate doing as my legs are beyond white and little friends "broken veins" make me a tad self-conscious.

Looking good! I wear a variation of this outfit myself, so I'm also biased! :) Black dress, sandals, red bag, denim jacket (or vest). Oh yes. Tried and true. I think it looks simple and fabulous for a hot day.
Oops - you have an orange bag. My bad! But the formula is still an awesome one!

You look great! I'm very pale allover and I agree with Shannon, pale skin is healthy skin. Nothing wrong with it! Some people just don't tan much naturally.

This is a great hot weather look and one I've liked to wear too...black sleeveless sheath, sandals, and faded jean jacket for over air-conditioned places. The addition of the red bag is a nice touch. Love this.

That was my strategy yesterday, Meredith! (Today it's not so humid, so I braved trousers, but I stuck with a floaty top :-)
