Oh so preppy walking the furbaby!

Hi Lovelies,
I hope you have as lovely weather outside as we are having in Boise! I am heading out to walk the dog and thought it would be fun to team my BF jeans and my dansko veda clog/tennies with a very preppy boatneck from LLBean. I also included my favorite white watch. I hope this isn't overkill and that the scale and proportions look ok. I even tucked the top which I rarely do! Opinions and suggestions welcome of course!

    All you need is a straw hat and a stretch of waterfront, cries of gulls. Fabulous interpretation, Meredith --- very sporty and spunky, bright and light...

    Hi Meredith. I love the rolled jeans, tucking, striped top and belt on you. However, I hope you don't mind if I suggest another pair of shoes for you? I feel the tennis shoes need long pants or shorter shorts. A neutral pair of sandals or low vamp flats might work better with this gamine style outfit.

    @Denise,
    I wondered about the vamp also. I have worn the jeans with low contrast khaki sandals but no ballet slippers or flats which sounds like a good one to try. Would it be a good idea , if I want to wear the tennies, to UNROLL the leg? Here is a picture with low contrast footwear and also with the leg unrolled with the tennies.

    Great outfit Meredith! I want to try some boyfriend jeans one of these days. I like Denise's suggestions and like the way you styled the jeans with the sandals and unrolled with the original tennies.

    Yes! Love the outfit with the neutral sandals and coordinating sweater you just posted. If wearing the tennies, I like the pants better long with one small roll.

    I actually like the original better - your legs are so long, you can rock the roll and high vamp, IMO.

    The jeans look great on you, and so do the shoes. I have a pair of those Danskos too, and rarely wear them because I just can't seem to get it right. Unfair of you though to mention the fur baby and not include it in the picture. Both of mine are on my lap right now
