Darling Polkadot Navy Blouse I covet

Now I have become obsessed with polkadots I wanted to share this cute blouse I am thinking of buying. I think it would be lovely for summer but also work almost year round. Opinions?

That is darling. Do you have to tie it or can it be left loose?

  • Meredith1953 replied 9 years ago

    Hi Debbie,
In the closeup It looks like it may just be "tuckable". I just now stumbled across it on the site so I may need to order it and check it out. I don't mind tieing it but of course some people might not want to.

Here is the link if you want to see it up close.

Another thought. It may be tieable (sp?) to the side or even at the back. I still think it can be tucked if necessary.

  • Debbie replied 9 years ago

Thanks Meredith! I looked at the review and evidently you can tuck it all the way around except for the waist tie. I think you would look great in this.

That's really cute! I've been looking for a navy polka dot top. I can't wait to see it on you!

This would look wonderful on you Meredith! I love love love navy & white polka dots.

  • modgrl replied 9 years ago

Not sure, seems like it could be short.

  • Meredith1953 replied 9 years ago

If it works but is slightly short I'll try layering a long navy cami under it!

I pulled the trigger and bought it online! Free shipping and returns so no worries if it doesn't work out. Nice price. Should arrive in 3-5 business days!

Thanks ladies for the encouragement on the top!!
The name of the blog is from the following poem (see below

Maybe for a thoughtful moment once
Bid myself a selfless question pose,
Asking for what the purpose it is
That Spirt does in surplus bestow
Blessings and sources in me to have.
To waste in me alone the all wealthy,
Or to share with others, the all needy?
To boost the pride in me inferior,
Or to test the conscience in me superior?
And if the answer on this to myself,
Grant not sincerely to me by self,
I deceive no one then but just myself.

For what gift I waste, is what I owe, and
In Divine accounting must someday balance.

Meredith, you have just ordered the most beautiful dotted blouse! I love it and that long tail in the back looks super modern to me. It's going to look SO good on you! I'm going to check out your blog now! I like the poem! :)

    Thanks Claire!
Right now I don't have anything up on the blog that is particularly deep. I have never blogged before so this will be very different for me. Not sure what direction it will take yet. :)

Love the blouse, Meredith and can't wait to see you model for us.

I must have missed your post about your blog...what is the website address so I can check it out?

  • Meredith1953 replied 9 years ago

    Hi Carole,
I just received my email from Greg day before yesterday so yesterday was the first day I tried posting. The blog website is http://meaghm00.lookfab.com and it is also listed in my posts on YouLookFab up towards the top. Actually right now, I post at Youlookfab and then put a checkbox down at the bottom to include it posting to this blog. Haven't really done much with this blog yet and am still looking for what my main theme will be.

The shirt unfortunately did NOT work out. I had to return it but I am determined to find a sleeveless polkadot shirt that WILL work!
