WIW - Saturday For A Walk in Kathryn Albertson Park

For those who know Boise, we are very lucky to have some lovely parks here. My personal favorite is Kathryn Albertson Park because it is a structured around a walking path that takes you through shaded forests and ponds. It is strictly a walking and ornamental park, that is to say, one doesn't go to picnic or throw a frisbee. They do allow dogs on leash except at the times that the geese and ducks are nesting.

Today hubs, furbaby Reilly and I went for our weekend walk. I really enjoy going before it gets to be scorching hot. It was as lovely as always and I look forward to walking it again tomorrow.

Threw on the BF jeans and new BR striped tee with my khaki sandals, white watch and white denim jacket. I hope you approve.

    You look fantastic! It's 100 here, can't imagine walking the dogs, as it was already 92 by 10 am. They told me it's ok, they are playing dead today underneath the house on the cool dirt. Chasing the jack rabbits, foxes, skunks and coyotes will have to wait.

    In fact, above wild animals are probably playing dead today as well.

    Thanks! It is currently ONLY 94 degrees here so I count myself lucky. It was about 70 degrees when we walked Reilly. It's nice that your dogs have a cool place to "play dead". Hope your wild critters also have a place to cool off.

    Awww....Riley is so cute! And you look great in your striped tee, BF jeans and white jacket - I bet Riley was quite proud to have you parading him around the 'city' park.

    My own doggie, "Gus" got into a bit of a tussle with a porcupine (again!) the other day, so we've been lying low. Everything's fine, though there's one broken quill that we need to keep an eye on. It's all fine and he's been to the vet - we just have to wait for one broken barb/quill to work it's way out.

    I think Gus would love to go walking in a pretty, city/in-town park for a change. Forget this business of getting into tussles with weird things in the woods. :) He *likes* the idea of a stylish, and non-eventful walk in the park.

    Very cute outfit - and your doggie is just gorgeous!

    They are the Calvin Kein BF jeans. I like oversized but I have hips so can't do really oversized. Reilly says "Woof, Woof pretty Kari”!

    Reilly is so sleek and as streamlined as his mama's wardrobe! Clearly, that boy enjoys his walks --- so glad the weather is being kind to him. He's utterly adorable, Meredith --- what beautiful eyes. (I think I'm a little smitten)

    And you look snappy and sunny yourself, just right for the weekend. Perfect degree of active style (stripes, denim, whites and a little slouch).

    Lovely walk with a lovely dog... by a lovely lady! You rock those BF. Flat sandals, striped half tucked tee... you've got it! Now I am starting to see how BF jeans can be worn with grace and style.
