Wished for Spring But Got a Winter Storm Instead

Hello all you lovelies!
When I dressed this morning I had Spring in my heart. It was above 40 degrees (farenheit) and I was sure it would be lovely. By the time I got to work I felt like I had been through a winter storm (sudden sleet and hail). I felt like I was driving on a giant slushy! So much for positive Springy thoughts. I think I look springy though. Your opinions are always appreciated!

Light green denim jacket
gray and cream stripe LLBEAN boatneck. (one of three)
Eddie Bauer gray trouser cords (I am replacing these with something trimmer)
Tsubo black and gray sport maryjanes/tennies
new funky black and metal circles necklace

    Now that is a really cute way to style that jacket! Love the striped T and the necklace. You are really honing your style Meredith! You must be getting a lot of compliments at work, too. I hope you stay warm today! I'll blow some spring weather up your way. :)

    OMG - do you live near Seattle? That happened to me yesterday!!!!! I was all psyched up for mild spring weather and ended up freezing my tooshie off! The slushy rain, freezing wind...bkech!!! I hope I didn't ruin my spring shoes! It was actually snowing this morning...big fluffy flakes! I'm glad I haven't gotten around to swtiching my wardrobe yet!

    I like that jacket....the shade of green looks really nice on you.

    Meredith, you sure have some gutsy weather! I don't see how the sleet dares show face with that pretty spring outfit on you. You look like a breath of fresh seaside air, if you'll excuse the synaesthesia.

    Weather sounds dreary but can't stop you from looking good.
    I thought the jacket would be good with the striped t - very nice - the colors compliment each other well.

    I live in Boise, Idaho which is also considered "pacific NW". Yeah the storm came out of NOWHERE! Sorry you had to deal with it also.
