I love both looks!!

JR replied 11 years ago
It works nicely tucked in. It would probably work untucked also... Thumbs up.

Both looks are great. You look so cute.

Cute shirt Meredith! Looks great with your crops.

I think you look great, and we are J. Crew black and white checked button down twins :)!
-
Jjsloane replied 11 years ago
Love the shirt. So versatile for any season (under a colorful sweater for fall/winter?)
-
Heather replied 11 years ago
I wanna see the check blouse with your red skirt! :)
-
Meredith1953 replied 11 years ago
Thanks Jamie and JR and morethanbeige (love that name)!
@Sara L
I'm hoping it will work multiple seasons. I am really concentrating on not having to have separate wardrobes for different seasons!
@Shannon,
I'm glad you like it with the crops!
@Jonesy,
Well I KNOW it is a cool shirt if fab you is wearing it!
@Jsloane,
I love the idea of it under a sweater also!
@Heather,
Yes ma'am I will be trying this shirt and the leopard print with the red skirt also!

Looks great - your style has been really great recently, loving all your new looks!
-
Meredith1953 replied 11 years ago
Thanks Scarlett!
@Texstyle,
I have actually been buying some clothing the last few months LOL! The first few months that I was on the forum I was just basically scrounging what I had in my closet but slowly I have started added after I have been sort of getting a better handle on my style, courtesy of the lovely ladies of this great community!

You look so polished and fresh! What a flattering outfit on you.
I am working on losing my muffin top so I can tuck my shirts in again...
-
JulieJohn replied 11 years ago
Classic and crisp! Love it.
-
Meredith1953 replied 11 years ago
@qpswan,
Well I still have a little "muffin top" going also but I'm trying to tuck occasionally :)
@JulieJohn
Thanks! Classic and crisp works for me!

jayne replied 11 years ago
hmmm. I am not lovin' the fit of that shirt. Is it too long to tuck? seems to bunch at the waist, can you try untucked?
-
Alecia replied 11 years ago
The shirt is great. The white jacket really draws out its greatness. I'm thinking that the crops could stand to be a little shorter. Or maybe more tapered. There's something about those crops that I can't put my finger on.

You look like a mischievous Huck Finn, Meredith --- until we get to the smart jacket and dainty shoes, and then your haircut suddenly reads as gamine! I love the inherent androgyny and the playfulness of this outfit. Who knew black and white could be so, um, NOT black and white? grey? I'm not putting this very well... :-/ But I do love it!

Great shirt and it looks great this way. Creates a very crisp fresh look. Would love to see it untucked also:)
-
Carole replied 11 years ago
What a great shirt! You'll get loads of wear from it. Hmmmm maybe that's something to add to my wish list. Anyway, love the way you have styled it here, fab as usual.

Really nice! I got one of these shirts a while back and have been too lazy to iron it - now am feeling inspired!
-
Meredith1953 replied 11 years ago
@AG,
I hate ironing too, but I figure it's worth it.
