Oh how I love my denim jacket let me count the ways!

Hi Lovelies!
I just love this jacket and have been wearing it a LOT!!

Today it reached 95 degrees so for work I combined it with a sleeveless mid length polka dot dress with my clark denim wedges and my white watch. The jacket is perfect for the arctic weather in the bldg and I generally keep it on all day while inside. I do take a 1/2 hour walk everyday while on lunch break so then the jacket comes off since it is very hot outside!

Tonight hubs and I are going out for sushi after work! It has been a long time since we had a date night! Furbaby aka Reilly is staying overnight with the dog sitter so we can linger over our meal.

    yummm.. Hamachi sound wonderful! BTW...is Mochi a term for the sweet miso cake dessert? I watched it being made when I was in Japan 3 years ago.

    Yes, mochi is indeed a rice cake that is usually, though not always, incorporated into desserts. I also used to watch and occasionally help out my husband's extended family when they pounded mochi from cooked rice for the New Year's holidays. It was a lot of work (and probably a dying tradition) but mmmm....super-fresh mochi with various flavorings afterward as a reward.

    I had heard it was a traditional New Year's dish. I also got to sample it and it was very good!

    The cool sandals and the denim jacket give you a very hip look, M. Well done!

    Is Reilly rather high maintenance? We haven't had to hire a sitter for our dog (or cat) but the kids are still at home! Perhaps we will have to consider the pets when the kids have moved on, something I hadn't thought about!

    @Isis,
    Reilly could have stayed alone for a few hours. He is actually fairly laid back about being left alone. We have left him as long as 5 hours by himself but he love the sitter and we figured he should be as happy as possible while we were away having fun!
