New White Denim Jacket with Black A-Line Dress- High Contrast

Hi lovely ladies!
It will 95 degrees today! Very hot and sunny. Since our building is air conditioned I teamed up my sleeves AT black A-Line dress with my new AE white denim jacket, white watch, black and white Talbots scarf, and black wedges. This is VERY high contrast for me and so I hope it looks ok. Generally I am more of a medium or low contrast gal. Strangely enough I don't feel high contrast when I am wearing my white denim jeans.

    This looks great Mere! The scarf really softens the contrast next to your face. Maybe you don't feel the contrast as much with your white jeans because the line of demarcation is down by your waist.

    I love this, Meredith, and plan to copy as soon as I can find an appropriate scarf. I, too, struggle with the high contrast of black and white next to my face, but with the scarf, it totally works on you.

    I am so glad that you like the scarf with it. That was the way I felt most comfortable putting that much white next to my face. I absolutely agree that white pants don't somehow feel as much of a contrast since they are "lower down".

    Darn it Ma'am! I was trying to be sneaky and not have them on in the pics since I haven't made it down to the eye glass place to look at frames! In answer to your question, I can see well without them except for driving and little tiny prescription bottles. Everything else I see just great! I'm glad you like the new outfit!

    This is a great look, Meredith! I'm also a low contrast girl, but for some reason, black and white or navy and white don't seem to be a problem

    I love this combination on you! I have the AE white denim jacket also but with temps at 106 degrees, I'll have to wait a while to wear mine again.
