New Polkadot Gap 1969 Shirt!! red scarf with pom poms?

Hi Lovely YLFRS,
Just got my new shirt the other day and wore it for the first time today. It is a small and seems to fit ok. Can't wear blue jeans to work so I just paired it with motorcycle boots and my black denim jeans. Added a red scarf for color but I am not sure I won't be cutting the pom poms off. I really want to find some nice colored jeans (maybe red or white). This is a pretty casual look but very comfy. Hope it looks ok.

    Beautiful! Love the color and the pattern mix. I checked out this shirt but it looked awful on me. You are ROCKING it! I kind of like the pom-poms, actually.

    That shirt is perfect on you Meredith - fits fabulously and I love you in navy and white. Like Una, I actually like the pom-poms - makes the outfit more whimsical. And your best accessory? That gorgeous smile!

    Meredith, you're an inspiration --- thank you, especially as I'm taking notes on 'comfy casual' this week! That scarf just makes the outfit, which starts out so calm and collected, and brings it to double-take-worthy. And I too like the whimsy of those tassels --- fantastic in their very frivolity.

    Meredith,I love this shirt on you! I ad tried it on, and lije Unan it jusr didn't work for me, butlooks great on you. I really like the red scarf, also. It has a touch of blue in the flowers which brings out the denim. Way to go!

    Western style shirts are difficult for me to wear too. This one just happened to be a little more tailored in the shoulder (I have whimpy shoulders!) so it didn't feel like it was just hanging there. Thanks for noticing the blue in the scarf!

    I love these 2 together. You look great.
    How does that shirt wear? I was looking at it,but the fabrication seemed to me that it might not hang as nicely as I like, and that it could wrinkle easily. What was your experience?

    Save the pom-poms! Sorry I just had to say that first. I've been looking for a good pom-pom scarf for a while. Is is square? The red looks great on you, as does the Gap shirt. Way to branch out!

    Now I remember that outfit you wore! I thought it was so cute it helped push me into buying mine. Now I want the red pants to go with it. The converse look so cute also! Waving at clothing polka-dot twin.

    It's funny because I really questioned the pom poms but I'm glad you both think they look fine with the scarf!

    The pom pom's shall be saved as the fab YLFRS have dicated it shall be so. The scarf is from AE and it is a long rectangle.

    I found the wearing of it pretty comfortable. I think it might wrinkle a little but that doesn't bother me. It seems to hang pretty well and as soon as I drop the extra 5 lbs I picked up after summer it will hang even better.
