New pair of straight leg jeans from the outlet mall

Hello lovelies,
No skinnies today but I am wearing a new pair of levi demi curve straight leg jeans in gray. I have teamed it with a darker gray fitted turtleneck, funky medallion, the trusty green jacket, new multi color scarf, taupe Born shooties, and new poppy raincoat.

Opinions gratefully accepted. I am not sure if the green seems too pale with the scarf to be really terrific but I do think it goes "ok".

    Boots! I love your BOOTS!

Okay, now that we've got that over with, the straight legs look like good casual pants for you. I am not sure how I feel about them with the green jacket; it's tough to tell from the monitor but somehow the colours don't quite work to my eye...the green being to "yellowy" and the grey being "bluish" if that makes sense. But I may be wrong about this. I DO know I am sticking to my view that the coat, jeans and scarf together are a fab combination!

I'm with Suz - I feel like the jacket doesn't work with everything else. The jeans are great on you!

Those jeans fit you perfectly Meredith! Your legs look long and lean. I don't mind the green with the grey but I do understand what Suz and CF are saying. Absolutely love that trench!

Thank you so much ladies! I wasn't sure about the jacket but thought I ought to try. I really need to get some other type of structured jackets! Do you think my gray faux leather would have worked better? Or maybe just a black cardigan?

Definitely try the grey faux leather, I think, Meredith --- it should be fabulous with that scarf! And how awesome to find these great grey jeans --- I'm green with envy! :-)

That smoky grey is so lovely with your hair, I'm wondering what happens if you add your violet shirt into the mix! At which point, I think the green jacket might be a fun contrast; with perhaps a polka-dot scarf thrown in?

Oh, it is so fab to see these on a body! Now I know I should try the "supreme" curve if I ever get around to it. They look great, Meredith, and I like all the outfits. The gray color will go really well with the season's brights, too.

The grey jeans could be very versatile and the fit is terrific. I'm not liking the green jacket here either - your moto jacket would be dead on though. Do you have a dark blue/indigo jean jacket? Or white? If you don't want another jean jacket in blue, a dark blue denim blazer cut would be nice to have to spice things up.

    You are the Scarf Queen!

The jeans are a perfect fit on you. I think the light green jacket could have been a more saturated darker green with the scarf, but I agree with you that it works fine. You look great.

    Ladies,
Thanks for more feedback and solutions! The gray moto jacket is a go. I don't have white denim but I can try my cream jacket to evaluate for color. San, I have an Eddie Bauer olive green field jacket I could try with it also. I need to find a few more toppers.

I will definately look at my violet shirt!
