Navy, Checks and paisley ALGO?

I know it is MaryK's neutrals challenge week but I did so many neutral postings when I started posting WIW two weeks ago that I want a little COLOR!! Now I know that Navy is a neutral but I have teamed it with a light blue check and a blue paisley and I need to know if this looks good together or too ALGO. Should I lose the scarf and just go shirt and sweater? Or should I lose the checked shirt and go sweater and scarf? Or is all three NOT too over the top? Advice please!

IMO it works very well! Like the fresh blues with your silver coloring, and you have a great smile! :-) I like the scarf there-, not too much for me-as it is delicate- but I'm a scarf girl, too:-))

Definitely not too over the top! Checked shirt + patterned scarf - that's a version of pattern mixing I can try.

I think it works great with the scarf since it has a colour pattern similar to the shirt! :)

    Sweet! I like it :)

I like it all together - pretty colors together and great pattern mixing!

I think this all works together very well Meredith - I love you in blue!

I like the check shirt with the paisley scarf - a great way to try some pattern mixing and the colours here look beautiful on you.

I really like that paisley scarf, Meredith - it does great things for your skin and eyes!

I like the checks and paisley together! It's not too much at all. Pretty colors!

Can I make a suggestion? When you take your picture (photo #2), if you hold the camera off to the side a little we'll be able to see you and your outfit a little better. It takes just a little practice to get the angle right, but it's not too hard.

Thanks so much ladies! I was worried about it being too busy but feel confident about wearing it now!

    Parsley,
I will continue to try to work with the camera awkward angle in #2. I shoot the picture with a droid x which has a fat screen and is making it difficult to use the onscreen shutter key. I'll keep working on it!

Keep the scarf...lovely colors for you!

I really like the combination. Not too busy at all, I like it with the scarf. Those are really good colors for you, too.

I think it's great - because of the colors it's actually quite subtle and very pretty!

    Sunita, Jen, Alaskagirl,

This is great - love the colors on you.

I like pattern mixing and think the scarf and check shirt go well together since they are similar color schemes. Nice job!

    Thank you Lisa!
