Leopard and Black and Tan

Hi Lovely ladies!
Very overcast day here in Boise! I am still playing with my new leopard blouse and caramel colored express moto jacket. I dragged out a pair of black trousers that I hadn't worn for several months and teamed them with the blouse, jacket and my new caramel colored ballet flats. Of course I added my new orange purse for extra color and my poppy red raincoat since it looks like rain is in my imminent future. Happy Friday my dears!

WIW
leopard Jcrew blouse
black trousers
caramel colored Express faux leather moto
caramel colored Antonio Meloni ballet flats
black croc patterned belt
orange purse
poppy red raincoat
black suede hat (just in case it rains)
gold watch
opal earrings

    I love how you are integrating your new purchases into your look - the animal prints look great on you & today you are a 10.

    Kiwichik,
    Thanks! I was just admiring your stylish outfits in your WIW post today. Really beautiful!

    This is one of my faves on you Meredith - the leopard print blouse and the moto jacket is a match made in heaven! And the pop of orange in the handbag is the icing on the cake. Fab outfit!

    Shannon,
    Thanks! I wasn't sure at first about the blouse and jacket together. I was afraid the combo would read too neutral but I really like it also! I am also enjoying the new flats even with the black pants! Happy Friday!

    Fun! the leopard and tan look great with the bright red tones!

    Very nice!

    Meredith, I notice that your close ups are always better exposed than your full body shots. Did you know that where you point your viewer when you take a light reading (usually by pressing the shutter just half way down) the light metor in the camera will expose based on the reading it took? So, the tip is to point the camera at a mid value in your photo scene and take a light reading, then press the shutter all the way down to actually take the photo.

    Thanks Rae!

    @Texstyle,
    It sounds like you know a lot about cameras! I will definitely try what you suggest. It is frustrating that it is a camera phone and I haven't got the hang of indoor low lighting shots. My outdoor ones look fine but wow the hallway where the mirror is presents a challenge. I could ask Hubs to take the pic but he already thinks being even remotely interested in fashion is trivial.

    I love that blouse on you! It looks great with your bright jacket and bag!

  • Meredith1953 replied 11 years ago

    Thanks so much Suz!

    Oh Meredith we are blouse twins! Thanks for giving me some great ideas on how to style.

    Oohhh, very nice! Luv the pops of color paired with the leopard print!

    I'm jealous of all these coat and jacket outfits I'm seeing. We are in the low 90's (F) now and our mornings start off in the low 70's. : (

    @Jsloane *waving at blouse twin*
    I know you are going to have some killer outfits! Thanks for thinkin mine are interesting.
    @AJ
    Wow...really hot where you are. My building is air conditioned like crazy so I can come to work when it is warmer and STILL put on a cute jacket. You have such great outfits anyway!

  • texstyle replied 11 years ago

    Not sure if that tip works on phone cameras (all cameras are a bit different) but I hope it might help.

    I love your new leopard blouse! It's perfect with your moto, not too neutral at all. Besides you have the red and orange to pop it all up. Perfect!

  • ManidipaM replied 11 years ago

    You just superseded by favourite from yesterday! I like!

  • Meredith1953 replied 11 years ago

    Thanks Claire and ManipaM!

    I really appreciate the pointers I need to practice more with that tip about the licght reading. I sure wish I could find a tripod that would work!

    Very, very, very nice!

    It's so great to see you NOT wear jeans :)

  • Meredith1953 replied 11 years ago

    Thanks Angie! I guess eventually I'll buy one or two more non jean style pants!
