Hello lovelies,
After yesterday's mediocre outfit teaming gray levis with my green jacket, I have decided to try these new gray straightleg demi-curve levi's with my trusty gray faux leather bomber jacket per some of the suggestions. The rest of the outfit is gray and cream striped LLBEAN boatneck, taupe shooties, citron AT scarf and poppy red topper. Hopefully this outfit will have a little more oomph!

Wow - I love the scarf with your coat! It is so exciting to see you doing colour and it really brings your lovely smile to light. I also like you in the greys, of course! Sort of nice to have an outer and an inner personality, if you will!

I DO love my grays (goes with and enhances the hair) but I am seeing so many beautiful colors in scarves out there that I find I can't resist! I think I am getting addicted to scarves the way some people get addicted to shoes and handbags!

I like the way your photos show how your outfit gets layered. We get to see how the outfit goes from nice to wow. The pop of color makes all the difference. And what a nice addiction scarves are - much more economical than shoes or handbags, and people see them right away when they see your face! Enjoy your colorful outfit.

I think I like gray as much as black now and I think I am going to like it even better with the warmer weather since it is a lighter color than black.

I actually choose the progression of photos so that you can see the way I am putting the outfits together. It is also helpful for me when remember what I like together. Scarves have become an absolute necessity for me. It's almost the the exclusive way I work color and/or pattern into my predominantly neutral wardrboe. Plus they do store more easily and I don't have to worry about weight loss/gain. They are becoming a signature for me I guess!

Normally I do wear the scarf all day, but just in case it is too warm inside (a rarity) I have the necklace underneath to at least add some touch of funk!

Thanks for liking the gray and the citron together and also for liking me in gray in general. I think a lot of people shy away from gray but I find it flattering a refreshing change from black.

Gray is *golden* on you, Meredith! Adding citron *and* red to that is absolutely hitting it out of the park. ADORE this outfit SO much I'm a little in awe of it! But I also think I want to pin it!

yes, I too vote for the citron with the gray! Excellent combo... Scarves are my prefered pop too... Economical and easy to store make them tops on my list! Glad I am not the only one who thinks this way...

You bet I love those scarves too! I have a tiny wardrobe without them! I discovered a love for them as accessories when I went to France this last summer with just a duffle tote that stowed in the overhead bins. Scarves helped me not be incredibly bored with wearing the same things constantly! OT....I checked back in on your chevron outfit and definitely LOVE the pic #7!

I am so glad you like the outfit and the coat! I am loving that coat. I have never owned a really bright one before....well....I have a bright green hip length rain slicker but that is all.
