Hi lovelies,
It is gray and rainy here in Boise but it is supposed to get up to 56 degrees so I will be able to do my usual lunchtime walk despite the rain! I wanted a cheery outfit so here is what I wore:
black levi demi-cure skinnies
rust colored turtleneck
Multi color scarf
Gray faux leather jacket
black lace up boots
poppy red Eddie Bauer raincoat
black suede rain hat

Meredith, I simply can't believe you never wore skinnies before. Your body was MADE for these pants! You just look wonderful in them, tucked or untucked. I hope you will continue to wear with pleasure!

Thanks ladies for your thumbs up on the outfit! I was so resistant to wearing skinnies before and now I really like them and actually these are super comfortable. Somehow I thought they would feel tight. I have been thinking about a blouson top (almost like a short dress over them) Do you think that would work? I need some different types of tops.

I got the hat a couple of years ago at Macys after Xmas sale and though I am not much of a hat person, I thought this one would look pretty good at least for a rain hat!

You look so great and ready for spring! I love the lace up boots. I had ordered a pair from Frye in cognac but sent them back thinking the laces were just too much going on. Perhaps I should have tried them in black for less contrast like you have. The poppy raincoat is perfect.

It is grey and rainy here too...I celebrated by buying the prettiest soft butter yellow blouse.....a bit of sunshine:)

Love that colourful scarf with the rust and grey, Meredith, but I just can't move past the suede hat that shrugs off rain! How utterly amazing! AND it looks charming on you!
