Floral scarf with Green Jacket - It's a Beautiful Day

Hi lovely ladies!
It is such a beautiful morning and the wind is fairly still right now. Our weather is supposed to be nice into part of the weekend and up in the 60s!! Yay!
In honor of the lovely weather I wore:
green jacket
brown scoopneck sweater
stone colored straight leg cords
stone suede shooties (Born)
Black, copper green and white floral scarf that hubs gave me this summer! Wow I think this is the first outfit I've worn it with.

    The days are getting longer and there is better light in your photo! With the stone colored cords, I can finally see what a nice shape you have, Meredith. This is a terrific outfit and I LOVE the scarf on you. Is it my imagination, or are there little bits of green in it that match the jacket? I have to say that I love the way you dress. You make every outfit seem so new, even though I recognize some of the pieces. I want to achieve this too!

    The days are getting longer and I love that. Thanks for liking the cords? I don't have many really formfitting pants I know. I'm starting to work out and feeling a little better about wearing them. What an astute eye you have! There ARE bits of green in the scarf that don't match but "pickup" the green in the jacket. I am working this tiny wardrobe for all it's worth and yes....some pieces you are going to see over and over again!

    In love with those jeans and shooties on you! So absolutely PERFECT with your hair, and the green really plays up the stone --- with the scarf, you're reminding me of pale new shoots pushing up through brown earth, between pebbles... (okay, it's clearly bedtime here! shush!)

    Thanks for the lovely compliments! I love the image of "green shoot s pushing up through brown earth between pebbles". It has almost a zen rock graden type of symbolism! Get some good sleep so you can continue taming your closet!

    the scarf is amazing! i love the zen idea of the green shoot coming up between the brown pebbles... and incorporated into an outfit! great visual.
