early morning walk and sorry I have been MIA for a few days

Hello Lovelies!
Sorry for not commenting on many posts the past few days but it has been a hectic week! Two coworkers gone so I've been holding down the fort. I hope to catch up reading some posts this weekend! Here is a new sweater I wore on an early morning walk with hubs and Reilly (aka furbaby). I hope you like it!

    Don't you look cool in those shades and BF jeans!
    I hope you enjoy a relaxing weekend to rest up from your hectic week.

    Breathe deeply. Hope things settle down for you.

    Can I have your new sweater? ;o)

    You look beautifully relaxed in spite of your schedule and I can tell furbaby Reilly adores you! ;)

    Nice cardigan (it's a knit yes?). Works really well with your BF jeans.

    @Kirti,
    Thanks Kirti! I had a wonderful walk. Today hubs and I went to a different park in our vw vanagon and took furbaby and cooked breakfast in the park. It was wonderful!
    Went for another walk in the park today and we cooked breakfast in the VW vanogan. It was fun and sort of felt like we were camping. Furbaby wanted our corned beef hash but had to settle for cut up ham in his kibble. A pic below is of hubs and Reilly by a fountain in the park.

    @Parsley,
    Thank you so much for liking the shades and bf jeans. The shades are raybans and I love them and have had them forever!

    @JR,
    I promise to practice my deep breathing. I appreciate your words very much! The sweater is an Eddie Bauer linen sweater that I think I can also wear in fall and winter. I like the longer length and it sort of a-lines away from the body. The color is sort of a bronzy olive and very pretty.

    @Vicki,
    Thanks so much for the nice compliment! Furbaby is pretty much my "velcro" doggie!

    @Deborah,
    Deb it is a knit I think. It is made of linen and very light weight. I am glad you like it with the jeans. I think in the fall it might work with pants and skirts and boots.

    You look ultra cool Meredith and "hi" Reilly!

  • Meredith1953 replied 11 years ago

    Hi Shannon!
    Hope your weekend has been great! Reilly lifts his paw and waves to you and your darling kitties!

    Look at you rocking those BF jeans, *with* a belt. You can hardly call yourself a dedicated non-tucker-inner now! You do look relaxed and happy. I hope you had a restful weekend.

    Meredith! Good to see you again, and looking so cool-as-a-cucumber despite a crazy-sounding week! 'Mission: accomplished', say the shades. B-)

    That linen topper sounds like a great buy! Love the colour --- looks green enough for spring/summer and dark enough for autumn too. How lovely.

  • Meredith1953 replied 11 years ago

    @Claire
    Yes I DID belt but notice I am wearing a cardi over the rest of the outfit!

    @ManidipaM
    Thanks for liking the topper. It is a lovely bronzy olive and I do hope to try it belted even in the fall.

    Yes, I love this look!

  • Janet replied 11 years ago

    Gotta say I never look that nice while waking the dogs! :-)

  • Meredith1953 replied 11 years ago

    Thanks Greenglove and Morethanbeige! I'm glad you like the look!

    @Janet
    I bet you do TOO look good when you walk the doggies!

  • rae replied 11 years ago

    You and the adorable furbaby look ready for action - nice shades! Kudos to you for holding down the fort. Hope you got to relax as much as the outfit suggests before another Monday!

  • Meredith1953 replied 11 years ago

    @Rae
    Thanks so much. I only need to get through this afternoon and then one of my two co-workers will be back on duty! I did have a lovely relaxing weekend.
