Slightly colder so I pulled out a pair of cords today.
Striped taupe top
Denim jacket
Brown bootleg cords
Taupe shooties
Blue multi print scarf
poppy raincoat
Orange purse
Black suede rainhat
I think it looks ok but don't really love these cords.

I think you look great in that top/jacket combo, plus hat, and I can't see a problem with the pants - but I'm feeling you on the weather confusion! We are going from cold back to warm this week (it's Autumn) and I'm having trouble getting in the zone (mentally) to dress both appropriately and fab-ly!

I hope the poppy coat and orange bag lifted your spirits?! We had a cool day here today and I was uninspired...pulled out denim and a corduroy jacket. Blah!
I used to *love* cords, but I think my love affair with corduroy pants is definitely cooling...

Meredith -- I think you've unleashed the "color beast" of Spring! It's hard to go back to neutral, cold-weather pants. Don't do anything drastic now, like paint grafitti all over them or make them into fringed cutoffs! Warm weather will return!

I agree it's hard to go back to all the neutrals of Winter when we have been dressing that way for so long. I promise not to do anything rash. Can't afford to trash any of the wearable clothing I have! I am so glad you like the bag!

Hat is suede and sort of beat up looking but I believe it has "character". Yep. I want it to go back into the closet for awhile though.
