Wow! First time I see you in a dress :-) Super outfit and love the colorful jacket / bag combo! You have great legs

  • Jilly replied 8 years ago

Love your lbd, Meredith; it's such a flattering shape on you, and the jcket and the purse add just the right amount of color.

Wow! You ladies just increased my confidence factor by 1000% percent. I have sort of white legs and have always felt a little self conscious in dresses. I do appreciate you helping me branch out a little. Angie has been gently encouraging me to try a few dresses and it is so difficult when I have always lived my life in pants!

  • Inge replied 8 years ago

You look wonderful, Meredith. And yes, please wear dresses more often;-)

  • Sylvie replied 8 years ago

Very nice! I like how you made a black shift dress look casual *and* refined.

  • londonkiwi (now back in NZ) replied 8 years ago

I bet that dress is a real work horse. It fits you like a glove.

Wow, a LBD for Meredith! Good purchase! I'm sure you'll suddenly notice dozens of occasions to wear it. The beauty of being able to dress them up or down really appeals to me. :)

  • Angie replied 8 years ago

Such a nice frock, Meredith! Have you tried it with a dressier sandal and shorter jacket?

  • Meredith1953 replied 8 years ago

    Thanks ladies!
I have only tried it with things I have in my closet already (as far as jackets go) but I will definately try it with my dressier sandals and as soon as I find a more cropped jacket I will give that a whirl. It doesn't look too short for a 58 year old does it?

  • Angie replied 8 years ago

From what I can see in the pictures, the length looks great.

Meredith, don't you have shorter jackets from Express?

  • Suz replied 8 years ago

You look divine in sheath dresses. LOVELY.

  • Tanya replied 8 years ago

You look beautiful in that dress Meredith. You should wear dresses more often for sure.

  • Zapotee replied 8 years ago

Look at you:) That dress fits you perfectly!

  • Isabel replied 8 years ago

I am going away..then coming back in a few hours, will you put on a dress again ? Because you look fantastic !

  • Meredith1953 replied 8 years ago

Ladies thanks again for helping me get the nerve up to wear dresses!
I don't have any jackets from Express. I do have the coral, green, denim jean jackets and a cream colored one from AT but nothing really cropped. If you can recommend some I would like to look at some though!
I'll try to wear a dress a little more often. :)

Excellent LBD homecoming, Meredith, with good ideas flowing from Angie.

  • Joy replied 8 years ago

You look wonderful in dresses! It's not too short, especially for summer with your sandals.

  • Mo replied 8 years ago

Yay, a dress on Meredith!! I love the idea of a sparkly sandal with this.

  • ManidipaM replied 8 years ago

Stunning, Meredith! And a colour combination I'd never have thought of! Lime green and black sounds like 80s neon in my head (I have the heels to prove it), but this looks spectacularly like grown-up, elegant fun (instead of punk!).
