Sonnet for the Self

Today for some reason it is just windy as all get out! After our lovely warm weather yesterday it is a little disappointing. I wanted to be comfortable but warm for my mid-day walk so I pulled out my Express red faux leather jacket that hadn't made it into my workplace yet and decided to wear it. WIW today:

I like the combo together and decided to keep it unadorned so no scarf for a change! I hope you like it.

Ladies it reached 80 degrees today and was just beautiful! I decided to mimic nature and so this is what I wore:

This is my first outing in the dress. It is very comfortable and while I wish my denim jacket was more cropped, I think it still works. I'll just have to find another more cropped jacket.

Dear ladies!
I am making my weekly much loved visit to my twinnie's house for dinner. We always have such a great time with her, her hubs, my younger sister, my mom, my hubs and myself. I am so grateful to have all my immediate family living close by. Sadly my father died in 2002 so we always feel that loss. It is a joyous occasion nonetheless. I love this purple, blue and tan combination so I hope you do also!

Hi Lovely ladies!
Very overcast day here in Boise! I am still playing with my new leopard blouse and caramel colored express moto jacket. I dragged out a pair of black trousers that I hadn't worn for several months and teamed them with the blouse, jacket and my new caramel colored ballet flats. Of course I added my new orange purse for extra color and my poppy red raincoat since it looks like rain is in my imminent future. Happy Friday my dears!

Hello dear YLFR'S,
I wore my polka dot sleevless midi dress today (one of my few outings in a dress). I am trying to ease myself into them. I teamed it with my green jacket, white watch, orange purse and my new Boutique 9 laceless oxford peeptoe heels. I actually received the shoes a few weeks back but needed to stretch them just slightly so they have been on little shoe stretchers for a couple of weeks. They are comfortable now and NOT digging into my heels the way that Shannon experienced!

I hope you all like the ensemble! Scale of happiness it is an 9 for me.

I debuted my new Angie approved AT navy scoopneck. It is a little cold so I opted to team with with my gray jeans, new Express tan faux leather moto jacket, new tan ballet flats and my leopard scarf. I really like navy with the tan and the gray so I hope you do also!
